About Elizabeth Elizabeth Whitmore Funk is a writer, editor, and professor who specializes in educational and creative materials. She currently serves on the English faculty of Marymount University.
Previously, Elizabeth was awarded a Teaching Fellowship to instruct composition and literature courses at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California. She trained as an editor and proofreader at Random House in London and Columbia University Press in New York City. She earned additional training in book publicity and marketing at W.W. Norton, and served as the first Executive Editor of The Truth About the Fact, an international journal of literary nonfiction. She holds a B.A. in creative writing from Vermont College and a M.A. in English literature from Loyola Marymount University. Elizabeth is a member of the Honors society Alpha Sigma Nu, and has authored award-winning scholarship on nineteenth-century literature and 1920s American drama. |
