Biography I grew up in Texas, where I published my first poem when I was eight years old in a small kiddylit newsletter, and when I was sixteen I was accepted into the Bachelor of Arts program at Vermont College, where I received a B.A. in creative writing. In college I developed a particular interest in nineteenth century women writers, Anaïs Nin, the novel, and the poetry and prose from Paris and New York in the twenties and thirties. Current research interests include flash fiction, Cormac McCarthy, and narratology. I currently live in Los Angeles, California and am working towards a Masters in English from Loyola Marymount University. I have developed the obligatory interest in Joan Didion and John Fante since moving to L.A. |
